For the report, I placed the Israeli company which we contacted in the “Other” along with Australia.
Maybe it turns out Israel is in Asia?

The CIA considers it middle east and makes distinctions between that and both central and southern asia.
I say it is other.
(按: 關CIA啥事啊? orz)
Maria:
The whole Middle East is in the continent of Asia, guys!
Let’s get real is there no “Middle East” continent.

Is there a continent of Europe? What’s the difference?

Gina:
We are dealing with political boundaries, not physical, i.e., continents,
so I do not think Israel is an Asian country,
but then I thought “more so” was one word.
Leia? Maybe you can comment on your thoughts.

結果我就回了:
Israel is in Asia. (otherwise, what continent is it in?)
But I think the main question is why we devided the respondents in different continent?
I think it is because the countries in the same area (continent) would have similar cultural bakcgroud/working styles (concerns)...etc., and therefore maybe have similar EHS practices and programs.
Based on this consideration, I don't prefer to put Israel with Japan/China/Taiwan, b/c they are totally different.
We don't have this problem in North America and Europe because there is not huge culture difference in these area/continent.

Magali過來跟我們講明天meeting的事 我就問她了
Do you think Israel is in Asia?
Magali: No.
(眾人大驚)

Magali: Middle East.
Maria: ok, then where is middle east?
Magali: Hm...Mediterranean.
.......mediterranean算啥??

I asked my professor today, and he said it's in middle east.
Then I asked him where is middle east, he said it's in AFRICA.
結論:
美國人的地理真爛 :p 法國人也有點糟糕...
